There are some interesting things you never knew or even thought to ask about your favorite(or least favorite) characters.
Well, since you didn't think of it, it's a good thing I did. And here's the answer to all your fairy tale needs (Or at least some of them. Hopefully at least a few. Maybe not any. But you should read it anyway, because who knows? You might have a question that you never realized you had.)

So many stories have been told of the dark fairy's motives and here is another one. Why did Maleficent curse Princess Aurora? I have merged facts from Maleficent (2014) and Sleeping Beauty (1959). Rights to Maleficent, Aurora, Stefan and the three good fairies, as well as the christening speech, go to Disney. The plot from 'Friends?' to the end is also Disney's. The content of the exams, the schools and Nanny belong to Serena Valentino. The spells are from Harry Potter and belong to J.K. Rowling (mainly. if you don't recognise any, I probably made them up). The main idea is mine and Volo belongs to me. Her name means wish in Latin. Sorry if anyone else had the same idea. BTW, Vota means wishes.

With quite a few secrets that are better left untold, and befriending not only Harry, but the Weasley's and their friends as well, her whole life is about to be turned upside down, even more so when she meets the enigmatic Potions Professor, Severus Snape...And as Severus tries to unravel the mysterious personality of the young witch that seems unphased by his ill tempered and harsh disposition, he can't help but be curious about the unabashed and defiant Gryffindor who seems to present more trouble than she is worth. With a spirited character and an attitude to match, Aurora finds that blending in and keeping a low profile don't exactly make for an easy life, especially with the Triwizard Tournament around the corner. When nothing is as it seems, how is she supposed to distinguish between what's real and what isn't? Say....feelings about a certain potions professor that she can't seem to stay away from? As the secrets and mysteries pile up around her while her past threatens to expose itself, Aurora will have to overcome insurmountable odds and decide who she can trust as her life hangs in the balance. After all, sometimes things aren't about doing the right thing, but doing what needs to be done. This story takes place during the events of The Goblet of Fire. Soulmate AU with a bit of a twist, since happy endings don't necessarily last forever. Note: This is a rough draft, and the first round of editing changed the POV from first to third person.
