Leon is a silly 6th grade boy who lives in a happy, threat - free town. Almost everyone is glad to live in such a wonderful place. Great friends, nice neighbors, and lovely dogs! A week ago, before school even started, an animal shelter, specifically dogs, has recently opened! On Leon's first day of school, he stopped by the animal shelter to take a quick peek. The owner of the shelter, Mr. Dubwin, was a pretty grumpy guy. When he went into the shelter, all of the dogs were....Quiet. Some were worried and afraid. But only one was the one to bark, and Leon adored the little guy! On his way to school, he was thinking about the dogs, about why they were silent. But little did he know....Soon his curiosity and suspicion would make him a hero..
