Michelle Wyld holds the dubious honour of being Australia's most famous young widow. It's been seven years since her husband, the internationally beloved wildlife activist and TV star Bruce Wyld, died in a tragic accident, leaving Mish solely in charge of the small town wildlife sanctuary they opened together - and primary carer of Bruce's precocious little sister.

Kylie Wyld was eleven when her big brother died, but she's all grown up now - and ready to finally expose her sister-in-law for the fraud she is. While Kylie and Mish play nice in front of the huge crowds that flock to the sanctuary, Kylie hates Mish with a passion; if it weren't for her, Bruce would still be alive. Kylie has a plan to claim ownership of the sanctuary, to immortalise her brother's legacy, and to see Mish ruined forever.

Mish is exhausted by Kylie's hatred; she has spent seven years shielding Kylie from the truth about the accident and about who her brother truly was. Mish has another secret: she's falling for her husband's best friend, the gorgeous and kind Parker, who has supported her unfailing through her grief and recovery. But with Kylie watching her every move and the entire country applauding her for never dating again after Bruce, she can't let herself get close to anyone else or the fallout would be catastrophic.

As Kylie plots to bring down Mish, she is sidetracked by a new team member at the sanctuary: Simeon has just moved to Australia from a remote community in Vanuatu and he's never heard of the Wyld family. He's not intimidated by Kylie, but his sunny outlook and zen nature show Kylie there is a different way to think about Mish.

As both Kylie and Mish struggle to protect their hearts, they'll discover what it means to stay true to their wild sides.

26 parts Complete Mature
Jessie White stands out from the crowd. As a Southern woman, she defies the typical expectations for a twenty-four-year-old. While others her age might be in college or embarking on new careers, Jessie's upbringing on a ranch alongside four brothers equipped her with skills many would balk at. She's adept at horseback riding, calving, stall cleaning, and more. Fiercely independent, Jessie refuses to rely on any man, a resolve hardened after heartbreak at the hands of Max Lane, a rancher's son, two years prior. Jessie has resolved to take up bull riding, a skill that appears to be a family legacy. Her lifelong dream has been to ride a bull before an audience, but now, her ambition has shifted to rescuing the White Family Ranch after a substantial portion of their funds vanished and debts began accumulating. Max Lane's family is eager to buy the White Family Ranch, but Jessie refuses to let him take away the one thing that sustains her. Being a beauty bartender owner and a female bull rider makes things challenging. Everyone says she can't do it because she's a woman, but Jessie is determined to prove them all wrong. Initially skeptical, Trace Black doesn't recognize her potential until he witnesses her mount a bull for the first time. Although he may appear arrogant externally, that pales in comparison to his internal complexity. Trace and Jessie are initially oblivious to their chemistry, though it's evident to everyone around them. As Jessie gathers the courage to express her feelings to Trace, the things she dreads occur. However, it doesn't make matters worse; it alters everything profoundly. *WARNING* Book contains language, child loss, trauma, etc. Thank you for choosing my story! NOTES: - English is not my first language, so there are probably many grammatical mistakes, and I apologize for that. I hope you can understand the story and enjoy it. - I have nothing against Bryce Ghasier; the character in this story is FICTIONAL and does not reflect reality. - There will be no explicit 18+ content out of respect for the girls, There may be some suggestive scenes, but that's it. ENJOY!!! TT: wtpsamy
