This is set in 1931-1933
Gretchen had once trusted her Uncle Dolf, or more commonly known as Adolf Hitler. He was like a second father figure, until a Jewish reporter, Daniel Cohen, had come to her, telling her that he believes that her father had not been shot in cross fire, but rather murdered. Gretchen soon finds out that it was no other than her Uncle Dolf, who, once exposed, kills Gretchens brother Reinhard. (1st book)
Daniel Cohen, a Jewish reporter is investigating Herr Müllers death, he seeks help from his daughter Gretchen Müller, eventually he develops feelings for the National Socialist, or more commonly known as NAZIS leader, Adolf Hitlers famous 'Sunshine' being Gretchen. While fleeing Germany he and Gretchen must stay close and comfort each other.
This story follows Gretchen and Daniels journey as they leave Germany, until, after 17 months of being in England they must return to Germany

While to Holocaust doesn't start till 1933 March 22nd I might have to mention some things about it as Gretchen had grown up close to Hitler and probably has heard of these plans
I might mention World War 1 or The Great War since Gretchens father had fought in it alongside Adolf Hitler
I will also mention mental disorders as in the books this is inspired by Adolf Hitler, Gretchens father and brother have all been diagnosed as psychopaths

To get everything back to normal again. Around those cities are small villages were the poor lives. The people who are barely surviving. The major city is called Alancia and that is were Victoria lives. Her father use to be the Leader of Alancia along side with his wife and brother. Until one day his brother killed him in cold blood and locked Victoria up in a cell. When she turned 18 she was offered a deal. Each year Alancia holds a fighting tournament for public display. The biggest and the baddest fight in this tournament and barely make it out alive. She has to fight in this tournament and if she won she had her freedom back. If she lost she would loose her freedom once again. Victoria knows she can't pass up this opportunity up. Instead of being set between the two books, this is set after the set after the second book, Conspiracy of Blood And Smoke. This is just a retelling, so I have rewritten the book to suit Daniels perspective. I've added things in (Like some conversations, or actions) that weren't written, but only when there's a time skip, and in away it hopefully alines with what is written.
