After Nya "dies" Kai and Jay are hit the hardest, but that doesn't stop the team from needing a new ninja... Cole and Lloyd are sent out to find a new teammate, not to replace Nya, but to be a "temporary friend" as to fight along side them.

He tried to find where Nya was adopted at but there was no luck and soon after that the orphanage kick kai out as they didn't want to deal with him. He was force to live off the streets for years but when he came across a kid that remind Kai of the hardship of living on the streets, he just had to take him in as his own brother.
