The New Year had just arrived, and the Kamado family was looking forward to spending it with their dear friends, the Tokitos. But fate had other plans in store for them. Nezuko, Tanjiro's younger sister, fell ill, and their plans were thrown into disarray. As such, Tanjiro and his cousin Muichiro set out to find medicine but ended up spending the night with an old man named Saburo.

Although he welcomed them warmly, Tanjiro couldn't help but feel uneasy about the situation.
As the night wore on, Saburo shared a story with them of man-eating demons. Kings of the night. Tanjiro and Muichiro aware of the existence of demons didn't payed much attention and spent their night warm and comfortable.

The next morning, they set off back toward the Kamado household. But as they made their way up the mountain, they couldn't help but notice something was amiss. The air felt heavy, and the forest was eerily quiet. What awaited them at the end of their journey was something they could never have expected. It was a day that would change their lives forever.

In the world of demon slayer, the main character, a young boy named Tanjiro Kamado was always the beacon of hope for those around him. His warm smile and presence that always gravitates a sense of love and compassion seemingly allowing him to change the lives of everyone for the better. Furthermore, his righteous goal of reverting his little sister back to human as well as defeating the dreaded demon king Muzan and ridding the world of the curse that is the progenitor of all demons and avenging his fallen family. However what if the story didn't revolve like this? What if Tanjiro was unable to traverse the mountain on that fateful day due to a sickness or broken leg and his little sister Nezuko was the one to do so instead? What if Tanjiro was taken by the demons and turned into one? Would he remain good? Or would he join the side of the demons and fight against humanity? Let's find out.
