Basil woke up, ready to finally confess the truth to his friends, but found that Sunny had beaten him to the punch. He hoped that they could finally be happy again, at which point Sunny dropped off the face of the earth and left Basil to handle the fallout and future.
A post-canon Basil-centric Sunflower fic meant to explore Basil's dynamic with the other characters, how he handles his own many, many issues, and, upon Sunny's return, how they sort out their collective issues.

sooo I wanted to write somethin about the aftermath of omori so here we go by the way warning this will be a more twisted way for things to go in the story so be prepared for that. Sunnyxbasil = perfection also I obviously dont own omori, just putting that there cause you know ;/ Also, also just got #1 on omori tag as of feburary 26, I don't really know how this works but that is an exciting mile stone I think, so..... !!This fanfic has MAJOR spoilers from Omori!! Kel is entering high school again with his friends. As little time goes on, the feelings he had for Sunny when they were younger had suddenly returned. How will he deal with these feeling? Things that should be kept in mind: This takes place in the point of view of Kel (So it is 1st person POV), this is a modernized alternative of the main story, and these events are taking place after Mari's death in the real world. Warning: there's a bunch of swears, jokes, timeline mistakes, and spelling/gramatical errors.
