On April of 2022, during the Johnny Depp vs. his ex wife defamation trial, he makes an unexpected friend.

"Okay...okay" he said sighing in determination. "Let me just say this: I don't know what exactly is going on but I do know that I really want to be around you, and I find myself smiling when I think of you, which is all the time, and I like that feeling and... well, you know" he shrugged shyly and looked down, bringing his hand on the back of his head and touching his hair lightly.
