1,000 years ago, the hunters were a group of maiden hunters who followed Artemis, the Leader of the Hunt, Moon Goddess, and several other things. The group disbanded when Zeus lost a battle for the throne. After that happened the Gods became worse and less helpful to the mortals, and they stopped believing in the Gods or just hated them.
Now, these days, Artemis has reformed The Hunt with females that were once out on the streets that she promised a better life to. It is hard to live that life but you gain a close relationship with those in your group.***Lindsey ran away from her abusive parents to live on the streets. She is a bisexual girl who hasn't really had friends since her parents divorced when she was 10 and her father got full custody and remarried. Lindsey doesn't really know what her sexuality is since she has only really seen people other than her so called parents when they send her out to get food. She is now 15 and has been with The Hunt since she was 13.***This story is a slow burn that will last an unknown amount of time right now and will have GL and very brief flashbacks to a time when Lindsey was abused, I will give a warning so you can skip it since it is not needed for the plot.***Any mention of people, living or dead is a complete coincidence. 'watch out humans, there's a Reaper in town. try not to die!' ---- prologue "Mitch we have to leave!" Annabelle yelped, holding a baby girl with black hair and blue eyes in her arms. "leave! go somewhere safe!" Mitch said, pulling a knife out of his leg. they were fleeing from the townspeople who had lit their house on fire screaming; "be gone evil demons!" all the couple wanted was to be able to live like normal humans, but atlass that was impossible.
