Death is something inevitable, no one can run away from it.
It usually seems as if death is something someone fears.
Loved ones including parents, lovers, family, friends all die at some point, and all we can do is mourn.
Cry ourselves to sleep, remember the moments we spent with them, these memories becoming faint with time.

No one ever wishes for their loved ones to feel this way, am I right?

Except some psychologists do believe that feigning 'faking' death is an attention seeking tool, that only severely psychologically-ill individuals would do.
Case reports showed that once the dead is buried, mourning crystallizes in many different ways in different people.

Some can't go on.
Some can't accept the fact that their loved one is dead.
Some push the fact deep back in their subconscious not even contemplating the idea.
Some just mourn for a few days and continue living their lives.

This is a short story, describing the act done by 24 year old Tessa, and the consequences of her act.
I hope you enjoy!
