An odd fantasy satire inspired by real DnD characters. This book is a concept draft, a few chapters exploring the idea of Grung as a character and the world he might inhabit. I dropped this idea eventually to move on to an alternate book project, but you're welcome to see the story-that-was, and meet my favourite little red frog wizard.

The Southerlands should have been flourishing, prosperous, but that was then. Now its very existence hangs by a thread, its people starving and the Emperor threatening to withdraw his armies and leave it to its fate.

...turns out it's expensive to run a far-off province that's beset on all sides by hardship. Who'd have thunk it?

Lucilla, teenage daughter of the provincial Dominus, may now be the only thing that could save her home - but she won't be alone. Joining her on an epic quest are Jendar, the mysterious titanic knight, and Grung - the, err, frog wizard. He shouldn't be here, but nobody knew what else to do with him. All he wanted was to buy some new spells. Now he's on a quest. Not that he seems to realise.

Can Lucilla, Jendar, and Grung pass the Three Trials, find the ancient Godswell, and save the Southerlands? And, more importantly, will Grung ever find the spells he's looking for?

"Grung: A Frog Wizard" is an epic fantasy adventure steeped in folklore, and ruined by a little red frog who has no idea what's going on. But he's happy to be there.

What do you get when lack of sleep turns you into a raving lunatic? The most embarrassing moment of your life. Lyrical Lyrical Rodgers lives a simple life. She manages a pet store, has a fantastic family, a great best friend (you only need one), and lives in the apartment of her dreams. Well, the dreams she can afford. The only dark spot in her rather happy life is her new neighbor. He's a jackass, parties all night, and has no regard for anyone other than himself. He's also sleeping with the building manager, so he's no help. Nixon Nixon St. James is successful, wealthy, good-looking, and comes from a great family. On paper, he's a fantastic catch. In person, he could benefit from a semester-or two-at charm school. A prominent architect and real estate developer, Nixon has it all...uh, his temper notwithstanding. Apart from his penchant for going off the rails every now and again, Nixon really has no complaints. When jumping to the wrong conclusion does its thing... After Lyrical unleashes weeks of sleep-deprived anger on her new neighbor, she heads over to her best friend's apartment (one floor above hers) and tells her all about it. However, as she goes into further detail, it starts to become clear that she may have cussed out the wrong person. After Nixon gets the verbal lashing of his life, he's not sure which issue to address first. How does he convince the angry spitfire that he's not gay, not straight pretending to be gay, or not gay and having an affair with his brother? I mean, he's been accused of a lot of things in life, but this? This is crazy. Good times. NOTE: This book contains adult language, adult situations, explicit sexual encounters, and an imaginary trip to Minneapolis. If sensitive to any of the aforementioned issues, please do not purchase.

Five Star Reviews for Atlantis Academy: "Omg this book was amazing I couldn't put it down or stop reading. I carried it with me open on my phone while I did everything just to keep reading. I need more of all of this. Epic story, epic content, epic visuals, just epic. LOVE THIS!" "Once I got into this story, I did not stop reading it. This is a beautiful story about a very awkward girl who is riven with so much pain and angst and yet... this makes her who she is and shapes her into the person she will become. The world she finds herself awakened to is magical and yet filled with the all-too-familiar cliques and tribes of the very human people who inhabit it. One word to describe the story: beautiful!" "The story pulls you headlong to the end and leaves you wanting to shout "No! Not yet!" ...If there were 6 stars, I would have given it that." *** Humanity is one secret society away from extinction. The children of Atlantis use magic to keep us safe. If they make it through the Academy. Hi, I'm Lyric. And I'm kind of a mess. ADHD, that's me. I'm a high school drop-out, late everywhere I go, and one screw-up away from being homeless. I'm a loner, and I like it that way. Who needs friends when you have a Redwood forest nearby? Trees never bully me like the kids did at school. Or get drunk and throw things at my head. After my mom died, I figured life couldn't get much worse. I thought it might even get better. Ha. The universe has a great sense of humor. I should've listened to the rumors about evil spirits. About the angry, ancient magical creatures haunting our small Oregon Coast town. But did I? No. That was my first mistake. And it might be my last. 'Cause now I'm in a battle for my life. A whole new world has opened up... a magical world I don't understand. And the blood in my veins says I belong here. But I have to prove myself to save myself. And when have I ever done that?

Enola Scamander grew up at Hogwarts during the reign of Grindelwald-practically abandoned there by her older brothers-Newt and Theseus. As their fame grew rampant and their involvement in the fight against Grindelwald became public, Enola's sense of individuality diminished until she was a meager imitation of what the Scamander name was supposed to stand for. The whispers and favoritism that followed her at Hogwarts were bad enough, but after entering the real world and landing a career as an auror, she quickly realizes that she can never make a name for herself as long as she lives in the shadow her brothers' cast before her. After six years graduated and not hearing a word from her brothers since, she finally receives a letter from her dear brother Newt asking her to meet him at the London Underground. What greets her is an opportunity of a lifetime, an adventure worth waiting for, and a keen mystery to solve. This story is bound to involve (somehow) a certain man out of time, a sassy tin man with a non-existent filter, a Russian assassin who can't confirm 'what happened in Budapest,' a hulking rage monster who doesn't like blueberries, the God of hair flips, Katniss Everdeen, and patchy the pirate. Adventure awaits among these pages, dear reader. My only hope is that you enjoy every step. Guaranteed updates-every week!
