So the ending to SPN was...brutal. And Destiel deserves sooooo much better. I started this before I even finished the show - hopefully that means I've kept the good destiel alive. You know, alive and breathing and not in the empty or dead of a rusty nail. You know, ALIVE. But before I get mad at the writers, I have to admit they inadvertently created a master piece, so on that note: I hope you enjoy these oneshots. They WILL all have happy endings because I don't have the emotional capacity for another bad ending. Also apologies because there isn't any consistent timeline or theme, it's just general destiel stuff as i think of it. bUt I hope you enjoy nonetheless - feel free to comment prompts or suggestions or anything. :)All Rights Reserved

I love the idea of Destiel, that a human and an angel can move beyond the physical boundaries of the human body, and find something deeper in each other, during a time when they are both ships tossing in a chaotic sea of emotions, and at a time when their lives are absolutely falling apart. They cling to one another, each becoming the other's safe harbor. It's transcends sex, moves beyond the fact that they are both in male form. It is love in its purest form, and it is on a deep and spiritual level. The idea that someone as broken as Dean Winchester can find someone that can see past the darkest parts of himself to the light within and still love him I think is the most beautiful thing on earth. It wasn't THAT bad at first. Yeah, Dean didn't probably didn't share his feelings but he was still there, right next to him, every day; which was more than enough for Cas. Until he, like the flick of a switch, wasn't. Now Cas was overanalyzing, and overthinking; why was Dean being so distant to him all of a sudden? // this is a destiel au (alternative universe) with lots of sabriel on the side. there are no monsters, no demons, no angels, and especially no wendigos *audible wink* in this fanfiction. there are no deaths, no self harm, no triggers I know of, mild swearing, and no smut (except it's hinted). if there is anything that bothers you with this fic, please message me. also if you spot any mistakes or triggers, again, message me. if you would like to leave constructive criticism, please do because that will be very... constructive. I don't know where the original photo from the cover is from, but if it's your edit then tell me and I will credit you or take it down (it's up to you). this story takes place in a fictional town called "Courtney" in California. HUGE thanks to @fcktheimagery who listened to me blab about this story for hours and helped me come up with awesome stuff, and proved to me that Bela isn't blond. I don't think I could've been as proud of this as I am if it wasn't for her.
