People always wanted to unwind from school works and other personal problems. It might be going to parties, travel out of town or fly to other countries, or just having an adventure with mother nature. A group of students had a sudden boredom of clubbing and bar hopping every week. They thought about having an adventure instead. That is, away from their city that never sleeps. Kim found a spot outside their town, everyone agreed and was excited to be there. They already had plans on what to do when they get there. All of them packed their things and go. That adventure was new to all of them and they love it. The smell of fresh flowers and the cold breeze was refreshing. You fight with honor, you protect the ones you love, and if you just happen to die in the process, than you do so with dignity and grace. What my mother neglected to tell me during my studies was that you don't always get what you want, the outcome you think is coming doesn't always happen, and when the smoke clears, you're always going to be the last one standing. By the end of The Certainty, Georgiana Vertigo is left with nothing more than her life, something many people would be more than happy to have. However, Georgiana is left to her own devices in a strange city, alone and heartbroken with regular intense bouts of depression. In starting a new life with the Guild, Georgiana has everything she needs in order to move on with her life and keep her mind off the past. Only problem is, the past is never truly forgotten and no matter how hard you try to shake them, the feelings that go along with the memories don't just fade away. ~ * ~ Alright, chickens. So now I have to get to know my daughter, convince my mate to accept me, and deal with a demon that has a one track mind about protecting its mate, even though she can look after herself way better than I can.
