Why cant she make it stop? Why does the anxiety continue even after she knows nothing will happen? Why must everything come crashing down at once suffocating her till all she can get out are short gasps for air. Her lungs begging for oxygen, she stood up and walked out of the classroom.
With all the overwhelming thoughts of panic and sadness, she failed to realize the one person who sat her leg bouncing, the only person who noticed how she picked her lips apart till they were all bloody, the only person who noticed before she made it noticeable.

Delilah Roberts is a 17-year-old girl, a senior at New Dawn High School. Her best friend Evan is the only one who knows about some of her home life. Not all though. She's been hiding it for so long, that she doesn't want to give up yet.
Andrew Hendrix is the typical troubled high school kid. so it seems. Everyone avoids him in hopes that they don't get in his way. His best friend Tyler on the other hand is a completely different story. People come up and talk to him all the time, as long as he isn't around Andrew.
Delilah and Andrew have always hated eachother. Since the first time they met they've been at each others throats.
With nearly every mean or snarky comment Andrew makes towards Delilah, he somehow strikes a nerve. She can't do anything other than roll her eyes and brush it off as if it's nothing, or else he would know.

Maybe Too Protective
We reached the hospital and Ryder, still being gentle, jumped out of the car. Zach opened the doors for him and they rushed inside the emergency room. "We need a little help." Max asked the nurse at the table. SHe seemed a little bit annoyed. "Sir this is the trauma center. If you have an emergency that can wait...Oh my gosh." She spoke once she looked at me. "Dr!"
