Every year, eager students arrived to the solitary research station within Itasca State Park for a summer of field classes and fun. Far from civilization, and complete with a lake, soccer and volleyball courts, and miles of paved trails through scenic forest, it was a nature lover's dream come true. But when a mycology professor discovers a new strain of fungus, the camp attendants will find that the nearest hospital is much too far away.
