The country is technically called Etharis, but Clay likes to call it the Hollow, that's just how it feels to him. It's dark and depressing and dangerous and, well, hollow. He was fortunate to have a nice upbringing with two loving parents, hardly having to worry about putting food on the table or the safety of his family.
