     The superiors wouldn't give the slaves a chance, even if it was a slightest chance. Well why would they?, their forefathers agreed that their generation will be slaves to this other generation just to be able to receive a token which is more like a hidden punishment forever.
They can't use their talents, can't marry from other places, can't go to school and many more. They were murdered and accused of high level of criminal activities.

We think and we expect! We do this both a lot and without these there is not much to do. Will there be any action without expecting a future from it? If so, then that is amazing. However, it is not in most people's worlds. And mainly in four people's world who had this vivid description of expectations for their futures, but ended up with another vivid unexpected futures. Everything was simple from the beginning in their own perspectives, but it was not from the beginning in real sense and it keeps on moving far away from simple with each moment and in the end turns the lives upside down but not the four people's because one of them got what they want but still went with the flow like an innocent. With that confusion, misconceptions arise and secrets will be revealed along with a clearance of misunderstandings and what not. It all seems to be too much of a trap, but what can anyone do when they really got trapped by the destiny or is it something else. All this can either be described as "What is meant to be always finds a way" or as "Karma is really a bitch"... Let's see what can be the perfect description...

But Megan's father has nothing to offer except his poor, broken, and damaged daughter. Of course, he agrees to take Megan. Megan soon thinks that he saved her. That is until she starts to notice his bad side. But his good side is loving and caring. But is that enough?

This work is very dear to me, I'd go as far as to describe it as my teenage/young adult soul transcribed to text. It was a normal day, until we heard those static noises. The next thing you know everyone is running out the classrooms. I can hear students screaming and running. When I step out I see bodies all over the floor. My old friends covered with blood, like a red blanket covering them. Follow as a group of students try to escape this hell. Their past catches up to them. They have to face reality and stop trying to hide the past. What they didn't expect was for the past to catch up so quickly. Lying and acting fake, is just the beginning of the past, but also torture, and rape. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ At the beginning of the story it's really bad writing. But as you continue to read the story gets better, I promise. Do give my story a chance I promise you won't regret. (I think ;))

1,000 years ago, there was a great war between all the countries and nobody, not even the citizens of said country could be trusted. It was the cruelest of all the wars and you could even say that because of it everything was lost to each's arrogance. Out from the rubble of the devastation one person came forward and with their words brought together 9 people. As a collective, they were the light during such dark times and with their knowledge in multiple fields they were able to make a new standing government, one that united the people. It consisted of the ruler known as The Divine, The Counselor of Security, The Counselor of Agriculture, The Counselor of Technology, The Counselor of Education, The Counselor of History, The Counselor of Ecology, The Counselor of Health, The Counselor of Religion, and The Counselor of Economy. Together they were able to rebuild everything and although they had to restart, they never gave up and pushed forward, making the society we know now. As years went by, they got older and decided every 60 years all who turn 18 that year will have to take an exam. Then depending on their knowledge of a certain topic, they will be put into classes and be monitored for 5 years while learning the field of their choosing. With a special section for The Divine, for they had to take all the courses. The only catch would be once you had chosen what you would be studying, you could no longer change it. Anyone could take the places, gender and sexuality were not an issue. When the 5 years are up, 2 students with the highest grades from each section will be chosen, except in the case of The Divine. The work load to support an entire country can be hard on one person so that is why they had chosen to pick two people so that the work was divided, they were on equal footings. This year was when the new candidates were being chosen and it was during my lifetime. Will Mia be able to get through her hardships in one piece or will it be a walk in the park?!

And for years in they life that was once just poor and broken got worse by that unordinary boarding school. Abused, molested, bullied, and deprived just to be become cold killing machines. Yet it worked, they became the best assassins in Italy and everyone but no one knew. By night and day they were cold killing machines assassins but sometimes day they was just two teenage kids. After years they mother took them out of the school and into a regular old high school. After all the people they killed and all the training when they stepped a foot into their "home" they was treated much more bad then last time but instead of killing their mom and step dad they didn't. They let it happen as they swore never to hurt a soul again after the boarding school while they swore to the school they wouldn't tell nobody what happened. And that's what they did leaving that life behind for good. Put together a man with a bounty on his head, a woman with too much to lose, throw in a healthy dose of trauma, teenagers, toddlers, sharing a bed with a stranger and you're bound to have a royal mess. Let's not forget the most important part, they can't fall for each other because that just takes the stakes up, you don't just wake up and get attracted to an assassin so you can be used as mafia bait, basically destined not to work. That's what this is, a mess that shouldn't work. But it does. And everything goes to shit because of it. A story about love, assassination, family and healing from trauma.
