On the dark obsidian floor lied a man.
He's quite famous, actually, known as the biggest, baddest villain on the entire SMP. So bad were his crimes that he is now contained in a small, black room that doesn't even fit to be called a prison.
He hasn't seen the sunlight in months, and honestly was quite devoid of human contact.
Oh right, forgot about the tortures.
The only thing that went through the man's mind these days were memories. Thoughts of the past, laughters of yesterday, all that joy and goodness.
Suddenly, he had a vision.
He awkwardly dragged his body towards the light, which shone forever so brightly like the gateway to freedom.
Was that...?
Suddenly, he realized something.
He smiled.

They start to remember. Even though they aren't meant to. But Memories have a way of returning, especially when they should stay forgotten for our own good. "The first thing I saw was green. It was dark. I was cold. And I was scared." Meet Maedr, Dream's daughter only recently spawned in the Dream SMP. But with her arrival stars start falling, chaos ensues and new truths uncovered about the very server they exist on. The new information will put her and her new friends - Tommy, Tubbo, Ranboo and Wilbur - into a deadly battle of control with the server's most infamous - Dream, the Green Man who is so much more than a man. From various different perspectives, all inside the SMP as if it was a real place. If you die, you're dead forever. No second chances. Enjoy! What if techno never broke dream out? It's been almost 5 years since they locked him up, 5 years without seeing the world. Just a plain dark room filled with hot lava. It's been way too long. He was losing his mind. That's when Quackity had gone too far and made Dream lose his memories. Now all the boy remembers where those bad memories of the people he cared about leaving him and the awful things he had done to them. He didn't want to remember it. He wanted it all to end. "Its been 5 years since the famous streamers: Technoblade, Dream, GeorgeNotFound, SapNap, Skeppy, and BadBoyHalo went missing. They were each streaming on the Dream SMP that day, everybody had just about logged off when the server suddenly shut down with the 6 still online. After a day of not hearing from them, a few people checked the SMP. The server was locked." -News article 2026. Tommy and Tubbo were sick and tired of hearing non stop about the disappearances. The two brothers wanted them to be found just so people would shut up about it, that was until scientists finally figured out what happened and how to get them out. each of the missing streamers were stuck in the world, their bodies now part of the game. The only way for them to get out was to either beat the game or find some sort of loop hole, their only problem? Dream had destroyed the end portals that were within 1000's of blocks a month before the disappearances and if they died? Game. Over. Scientists developed a new VR like device, they only made 3. With those 3 they needed volunteers but nobody seemed to want to risk it. Tommy decieded to do it for fun and drag Tubbo with him. Can Tommy and Tubbo and one other help Dream and everybody else escape the SMP? Or will somebody else on the inside stop them from beating the game and kill them. i hear footsteps behind me. i try to get up but struggle to because of the wound in my side. i shift my body to see Technoblade walking towards me. "Techno i'm fine, really." i say, frustrated. he doesn't respond, instead, he kneels beside me and looks at my wounds. he lifts up my shirt to show the stab wound on my side, blood spilling from it. "who did it?" he asks. "what-" "who stabbed you?" he asks, anger lingering in his voice. "why does it matter?" "just tell me." he asks, anger being replaced with eagerness. "Schlatt." i mumble. the pain in my side increases by the second. Technoblade looks up from me, to Schlatt, who holds a sword with my blood dripping off of it. Technoblade stands up from beside me, and approaches Schlatt, drawing his axe. "what's wrong Techno? i was doing you a favor. it's not like you even liked her in the first place." Schlatt said, smiling.
