So to replace the killing flowers on his lungs. The doctor placed one Blue Spider Lily's on each lung inside his arteries and ribs with the objective to heal him, which by the time got connected to his heart, making his blood blue, and anyone who drank it could be easily healed from a disease. (Everything happened just fine in Demon slayer until Rengoku's dead) When Rengoku was about to die, he murmured that he wished Tomioka was right there. Akaza informed Muzan as fastest he could.
