The tale of a vampire, written through tape recordings and notes taken by a college student.
Dani's creative writing class has been given an end-of-year assignment. She was given the name of her partner--Rebecca Harris--and they begin meeting, always after dusk. Her partner says she has a really good story to tell, so Dani agrees to interview Rebecca.
The tale is told, and an unspoken bond has grown between the girls. But can Dani save Rebecca in time, or will she leave forever?
