A zombie named Zed and a cheerleader named Addison work together to show the town of Seabrook what they can achieve when they embrace their differences and celebrate what makes them a community. Along side them in the adventure of making a change were Marshall and Amelia Lee, the openly gay nephew and shy in the closet lesbian niece of the principal of Seabrook High, along with Mace Rudolph a non-binary person with the gifts of being able to predict what will happen next by drawing and Tracey twin brother Ethan who has been living in his brother shadow his entire life discovering who he is and who he falls for.

Ethan and the gang are back as back at Seabrook High, where, after a groundbreaking semester where Zed and Addison show some sort of connection between each other while also trying to continue to steer both their school and community toward unity as Ethan had just came out as bisexual had still having trouble trying to find his place in the school. But the arrival of a new group of outsiders - mysterious werewolves - threatens to shake up the newfound peace and causes a rift in Zed and Addison's connection but for Ethan, he has found his match.
