Finding a Gym
If you want to become an elite gymnast, you need to find the right gym. This can be tough because not all gyms are created equal. If girls gymnastics leotards train with a bad coach and bad gymnastics clothes, it's like going to college without a degree - it doesn't matter how smart or talented you are, your potential will never be reached. To make sure that your training is as good as it can be, follow these tips when looking for a gymnastics facility:

· The first step to becoming an elite gymnast is finding a gym. A good gym will provide you with a solid foundation of skills and a place to practice when you're not at school.

· A good gym should have coaches who are experienced in coaching competitive gymnasts and who understand the specific needs of elite athletes. They should also have qualified staff that can handle all aspects of your training, from conditioning to strength and flexibility exercises.

· If you aren't sure where to begin looking for a gym, ask your coach or another gymnast for suggestions. If your school doesn't offer team sports or other physical activities, check out community centers in your area or online forums dedicated to gymnastics instruction.

· Start early. The best way to find the right gymnastics program is by starting at a young age - when there's still time for coaches and peers alike to mold you into the athlete of your dreams. Ideally, this should happen before your body has fully developed so that there's less risk of injury or burnout later on in life.
