Jenna, the first girl in the glade. After Alby arrived at the beginning, she was the 2nd Greenie. Scared and confused, she discovered the maze. She began exploring it, and she was the first Runner of the Gladers. After more newbies or Greenies started to arrive in The Box as they began to call it, Jenna meets her fellow lead Runner, Minho. 3 years later, A New Greenie arrives in the box. His name is Thomas. And Jenna sees some of herself in him. The curiosity, confusion, and the adventuress spirit. Jenna takes Thomas under her wing and shows him the way around the glade. The usual starter pack of some character being the first girl in the glade and blah, blah, blah. Yeah..not what I'm gonna do. Let's start like this, trapped, hopeless, with no way out. That is the life in the glade. No one knows why they are there or how to get out. They try to keep each other in a state of sweet ignorance. Just to keep their sanity. But the ones that were there the longest they know. They know the hard truth that would cause other gladers to lose their minds. These few chosen ones became fearless. Warning: As my bio says I am not a native English speaker, I am from Slovakia and English is just my second language. And because Slovakia is some lost country in the middle of Europe I didn't yet get my hands on the Maze Runner books in English I only read them in Slovak and let me tell you that isn't as good...So I will be mainly basing this book on the movie, of course using some things from the books as well from time to time.
