The master of my dreams by Eyitee101
8 parts Complete
I never thought that I would fall in love with my new master. It was forbidden to so much as even look the white masters straight in the face, for if your master was the intolerable type, you could get killed for such crimes. This was long before my birth, long before the masters attacked, but I knew this because mama never failed to talk about it or sing me a song whenever we were marching to the fields in chains, led by our enslavers. I lived those times by singing folklore songs even though I wasn't born then. The masters of our group were kind, and they allowed us to sing while we marched. Other groups weren't so lucky, as they would be flogged severely if they dared to utter a word. I didn't know a life outside that of an enslaved person because I was born into it and so I got used to the daily suffering, never knowing what happiness truly felt like, never knowing what tomorrow would bring. Then it happened, for the first time, the first time, I had a taste of something I truly desired, something I never knew I would want so much. The first time my new master walked into my room....
