- The last time Sakura encountered Sasuke was when she was sixteen years old when they infiltrated Orochimaru's hideout. Ever since then, she never saw him again. She heard rumors about the type of 'crimes' he committed and as the years passed she came to terms with her old feelings toward the young Uchiha.
Three years later, now that she is nineteen, she loves her life. She's been an Anbu member for five years. She made a name for herself in the field both medic and battle field. She goes on Solo S-Rank missions with a 99% success rate. She lives in a modern apartment, she's engaged to the Kazekage and her life seems to be a dream. That is until she returns from one of her 'rare' team missions with other fellow Anbu members, including Sai, and she discovers that Uchiha Sasuke has return to the village. She finds out the 'truth' about what Sasuke has been doing all these years and yet She has bitter feelings toward her old teammate. This story will follow Sakura as her 'perfect' life begins to crumble and will follow the development of Sasuke and his feelings toward his old teammate. Will they be able to patch things up? Or will they decide on simply staying as friends for their sake and the sake of those around them?
