Set in a land of magic and mystery, this is a tale of pride and
devotion. Ashlynn has a deep love for her kingdom and her homelands, and
risks her own life to try and spare her people the pain of war. She is a
ruler unlike any other, one who has inherited the heavy burden of not
only a crown but the duty of an Elemental, one who has the ability to
shift their form into that of a dragon and have special kinship with
others of her kind.

When the High King of Caedia, a nation once a part of the Isles, decides
to bring war to the Elementals, to try and rid the earth of them in his
quest for ultimate power, Ashlynn must grow up in a hurry and learn to
fight, as well as find the rest of her kindred that have been scattered
across the globe for generations. Little does she know that the man she
prepares to fight is only a pawn in a much bigger war, and that the real
face of terror has been hiding in plain sight all along.

Setting out to find the other daughters she leaves her mother and father for a journey she never expected. Along the way she faces the challenge of learning and controlling her powers, experiences love and heartbreak, and struggles to accept the life she is destined for. All the while testing the peace keeping limits of Evangeline, whose elemental power of spirit is used to bridge their powers and keep the five of them connected. Together they cross an ocean to seek out Alexandra, Lillian and Victoria. Battling evil forces at every turn, they race to meet with the magical council to start training. The Unnamed Blade (Book Two of The Horns of Elfland)

22 parts Complete

This is Book Two of The Horns of Elfland. (Book One, The Unknown Quest, is available in full here on Wattpad). The Journey has begun. Winter is coming (apologies to Game of Thrones, but it's just that time of the year!) Tragedy strikes in the Elves' first real contact with a servant of the Evil One as they cross the ford of the great river Afn on Mons Dei, leaving Farinka devastated; it takes many months for her to come back out of her shell. The Elves are "adopted" by a wild child and a wolf pup, Kaaia and Kin, who travel with them to the Western Mountains and the Hidden Valley. The Western dragons take the six senior Elves south to recover Miirshekaar's Blade, but Hlammaeth will not let Nemeth keep it until after they reach adulthood; he tells Nemeth that Tarke has a decision to make first. The time in the Hidden Valley brings to light a wholly new side to Farinka.
