Clay decides to join the debate team jokingly but realizes he might be actually enjoy it. Except for the annoying brunette that seems to have vendetta against him. The pressures of school and his feud with the boy are only getting worse. The only thing keeping him from falling apart is his best friend Gogy, whom Clay has liked for years, despite not even knowing his real name.
George's stress only increases when an unruly blonde decides to join the school's debate team as a joke. He's struggling to manage his perfect GPA and maintain his hobbies. The final straw is when he starts to develop feelings for his best friend, Dream.

Going to a public school as an autistic, highly intelligent boy, he clearly notices the differences between his classmates and himself, giving him a lot of insecurity and shame about his own behaviour. As his escape, he goes to a bakery for hours a day to calm his mind, but things change when a new boy who moved is hired. Unexpectedly, and for the first time, George decides to open himself up to the new boy, Clay, while at the same time, Clay slowly starts falling for his new best friend, George. Mostly fluff with some angst every now and then! ⚠️ I wrote this book from my own experience and my own mindset, as someone with diagnosed autism, highly intelligent and ADHD. I DON'T think people with autism are childish or cute, I'm not projecting a stereotype. This is from my own struggles with autism at a public school without special needs.Concluída

Clay had been closeted all his life and planned for it to remain that way. But, with having homophobic parents it was seemingly impossible to ever find the happiness he longed for. After being outed to the only people he now disliked the most, his parents react worse than expected and Clay falls into a pit of loneliness when he gets sent to conversion therapy to "turn him straight again". George had homophobic parents too and goes through the same. When times are at its worst somehow these two meet each other and now they are isolated from reality in the therapy school. Clay struggles with home life, and his social life isn't the greatest either. George on the other hand is the popular kid in school, having no issues at home and no issues with his social life. The two used to know eachother, but something happened after Clay turned four and George never saw him again. What happens when the two cross paths for the first time in thirteen years? This is a very slow burn, fluff filled fanfiction, with some questionable parts, but I just wanted to make this as detailed as I could, so I'm sorry about that.
