They were best friends since birth, Alexis and Hayden were next door neighbors who shared the same birthday. When Alexis had to move away the summer before 7th grade they made 3 promises. number 1 they will never stop being friends. number 2 every night they will call each other and talk about their day. number 3 every year on their birthday they will meet at the half way point at a abandoned dock by a lake. But Hayden broke his promises and left Alexis in pieces when she needed him most.
