America has changed. Most people now spend every waking moment on the new game, Guarded By Demons. The multiplayer horror-survival videogame is the hot topic of the world.
But things start to change. Players are reporting in disappearing friends both in-game and reality. A strange gamer named Lynch is claiming credit for the disappearances. The government steps in and declares martial law after a government spy is found dead.
The players don't like the new restrictions, and Markus and his anarchist friend Savage begin their cyber revolution. But will they succeed and take down the government's stooges and Lynch? Or will they be murdered by the magical gamer?

Unfortunately for our MC Jack, embracing newfound power and going out to valiantly battle monsters isn't quite as simple as most other people have it. He possesses the rare and not so sought after lightning element, considered the weakest element for certain reasons, pitied and looked down upon Jack is determined to become a successful monster hunter in a more and more dangerous world. A slow burn story with world building, dungeon delving, character progression, Litrpg elements and more. WARNING - The MC is not a Mary Sue, he is not super competent, or super powerful or super intelligent nor a paragon of virtue, just a normal guy in a not so normal situation and him growing to deal with it in his own way.
