Along with finding secrets hidden deep in her species' history, she learns how to find her own secrets hidden inside herself, all while searching for her friend, and navigating a world that still feels so new. 

Is Sophie's trauma too much for her to handle? Will the pressure of finding Biana finally break her? Can she fix what has been splintered, broken, and shattered?
