Everyone has an 'alter ego' who helps them out on their journeys. They give them tips and do what they can to help them.

However, some people's 'alter ego(s)' are corrupted, meaning they'll be trying to hurt the person they're supposed to be helping. And this is what's happening with Grian. He's seen as dangerous for this - something he can't control - so he escapes where he's from and gets to move to a new home.

Yet something isn't right..

As the era came to an end once more, each of the fourteen players buried their grievances with themselves and each other, happy to return to happier days. Yet, when a twist of fate bounds the players together again, As the Watchers decide to make the Double-Life Games a reality In order to not only cause chaos, but revel in the aftermaths of their actions The once soulmates must now not only confront their past actions, but also try and figure out how to solve and repair broken relations and undue the curse, But will feelings complicate these emotions, and will the soulmates act out on their feelings, Hidden ones, beginning to resurface or will they let them consume them once more?

Don't start a resistance. It's hard to not but Grian can't just start a resistance in every single season. Right? Eventually, finding himself a corner in one of the rocks to reassure himself that he didn't need to start a resistance. Sitting there, minutes on end. He just can't help it. However everytime he's there, he would feel a weird sensation. As if something is telling him, he must start a resistance. Surely it can't be anything right? Grian was sure that the sculk doesn't spread unless a mob dies near it right? So it mustn't be the sculk. What can it be then? Eventually it got even worse. From a sensation, it changed into voices. Everytime he was in the shopping district, something would tell him to set the whole place on fire or blow it up or kill everyone. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is not my first story since I started another one a few days back but lost motivation and it eventually felt like a chore. So I have basically 1% more experience than I had back then. Hope you enjoy this. Since I don't want to pressure myself this is the release time for chapters: A week: usually 1 or less or more chapters out, just based on my motivation and what's going on for me rn, I have a life too lol. Anyways. Hoping I don't delete this one like the other lol, also planning to make at LEAST 25 chapters. Each will also be at LEAST 650 words. So ye. I guess cya if you read this? Update: I'll be adding tags as we go and yes, my plots may suck and I usually don't plan how the story goes unlike people with an actual brain that has braincells in it, unlike me.

Grian was getting used to the safety of the Hermitcraft server quite well. He still had bad days in which all the memories of his high school life came back to him and ate away at his mind. However, he also had good days, when he could spend time with his friends and live happily, normally. On one of his bad days though, he finds a white bunny with a nametag reading 'Sam' wrapped around it's neck. It was an accident, surely, probably part of Stress's shenanigans. Probably just a coincidence that the handwriting spelling the name looked like someone else's... someone from Grian's past. But Grian wasn't thinking of what it probably was when he ran. But it turns out, running has consequences. OR Samgladiator joined the game A YHS/Hermicraft fanfic, involves very mild Grumbo shipping but you can read it as purely platonic if that's what you want. Trigger warnings are: death (not permadeath), knives, stabbing, abuse, fighting, manipulation, PTSD, Sam being Sam, blood and general angsty stuff. Don't worry though, it has a happy ending! Also yes my front cover and chapter titles are very imaginative. Word count: approx 10200

Broken (A Hermitcraft Fanfic) by ReeeeeeeMeow

Grian is just a normal hermitcraft guy. He goes around pranking people and having fun, always with a good personality. But then something joins the server, determined to dig into Grians mind and change him forever. Grian starts hearing a voice in the back of his head. It gets deeper into his past, digging out power and an unsettling courage to corrupt things around him. Even though he already had a nag for friendly distruction this is a whole different situation. The voice is telling him to hurt hermits. Change hermits. Kill hermits. NPC Grian has come for revenge, and Grian is finding himself swayed by the voice. (This is not an Evo story although it will have mentions that Grian has been an admin. The watchers have nothing at all to do with this story, just the fact Grian has been an admin and knew some things he has forgotten. This story takes place in season 7.
