But the Link Dimension found out about the existence of the other dimensions and decided to explore them by sending some of their best duelists to the different dimensions to explore. But they end up getting caught in a dimensional war and find out all dimensions are in danger by the Fusion Dimension.

Throughout the YuGiOh timeline, we have known of the four main dimensions that run with the timeline. The four dimensions are XYZ, Fusion, Synchro, and Standard. Each main protagonist has come from each of these dimensions, but also at different time dates. Living in the distant future of the Synchro dimension, a young duelist named Eto, works with scientists to make the first ever time traveling machine. During a mistake in the launch, Eto is launched to an alternate dimension in years past. Eto works with one of our main protagonists to try and escape but when the shadows of a secret plot take hold of Eto, it could danger not only all four dimensions, but the existence of the universe in all total.
