As fires rage through the city he was born in, Michael Karson must solve a case known as "The Fire Starter", his job is to find the one responsible and bring them to justice. But as the case is expanded his past traumas are brought to light. Will he be able to find the one behind the fires or will he burn away into embers along with the rest of the case?
