If I had to tell people what this short story is about, then all that comes out from my mouth is "it is about the end, my friend. When I once thought I lost the light. only for it to shine bright again."

The moment shatters when one pulls away, apologizing-revealing that, despite everything they shared, they don't see the protagonist that way. Left alone, heartbroken, the protagonist is left to wrestle with the contradiction of feeling everything just moments before, only to lose it all in the silence that follows.Complete
