Lola has just moved to Texas, a place where a girl like her isn't welcome. Her parents left her, meaning she has to live with her uncle. His family doesn't accept her, and neither does anyone else until Lola meets with Jake, who persuades her to go on a journey. A journey of following small clues to find the man who sent her world plummeting into darkness - her father.
