In a world where technology evolved to fight against climate change, a terrible incident occurs within one of the new world's key power plants. It implodes and sends a shockwave of energy across the earth, giving people strange abilities of varying kinds. These people were called "Alters". Alterations of the average human. Some accepted them. Others didn't.
Dream is a Neon City Alter, which have the ability to manipulate sound into physical light. Sapnap is his best friend and partner in Alter crime. Until the law catches them. They're both forced to work for a team of powerful Alters who play vigilante for the police.
So then, what would happen if they were given the choice to leave? Would they choose their old life of crime and running, or stay and work for a police force that made them illegal?
And what would happen if love entered the equation?
