In a city ravaged by a long and destructive war, a daring young woman named Claire lives in an increasingly hostile environment, desperate to survive yet always has a smile on her face, either to show gratitude or to taunt her adversaries. Equipped with a makeshift mech and her handy grenade launcher, she'll make anyone pay a hefty price for standing in her way. 

Despite the damage the city and its people have faced, an invasion would occur, not only worsening the already difficult situation Claire is in, but also uncovering a long buried secret by an important figure of her past, forcing her to commit to unreasonable promises, and resort to more drastic actions and decisions.
