Annabel at age six lost her family in an accident on the eve of Christmas on their way to Rich's.
She was rescued by Sister Pamela and taken to the orphanage in Beetville. Every Christmas eve, Annabel would stand by the window waiting for Rich. After thirteen years, she left the orphanage in search of him.
She came to Everestland and discovered his empire, which her late father owned, and Rich is now the most successful CEO. Annabel erroneously believed that Rich had long forgotten about her and was living his best life with her inheritance and this made her love for him to turn to spite and she plans to revenge.
Due to Annabel's long wait for Rich, she became pathetically attracted to older men.
She later met Rich who gave her his name as Jay. On their first night, she made him drunk, and slept with him. In the morning, she disappeared.
Jay was able to find her and discovered her hate for Rich they fell in love but because of her sexual addiction, he left. When he found that she was Annabel, he had to find a way to make her accept him.
