**#1 in #Darkmoon** A walk in the forest, that's what I need. A stressful day at school and a walk in the forest will relax me. This is what I do all the time. Every day without fail, I take a hour walk in the forest behind my home after school. This time something happened that I didn't even expect in these woods. At first I heard a low growl and thought it was just a dog and an owner. Then it got louder, sounding like it was getting closer. My head jerked in a direction where a twig snapped, causing my heart to start beating faster then normal. It was a bit dark in the forest, considering it was winter. Then that's when I saw it, the red eyes coming from the bushes. My feet were frozen to the spot, I wanted to run but my feet didn't want to move. I felt a hand go on my shoulder, turning my head, I saw a man, probably in his early twenties. ''Run!'' He whispered but loud enough for it to be a shout. I looked at the eyes and a hand grabbed mine, pulling me off in a different direction. This isn't the best way to meet someone but what happens when they see more of each other? Will they enjoy each other's company? Will he be able to tell her the truth? This is my first werewolf story and I know that it won't be to everyone standards but please enjoy. Copyright. Shadows
I'm so afraid. I haven't been able to sleep for some time now. They keep me awake. Every night they come from out the shadows and speak to me. Every night I can hear their laughter, their whispers. The shadows on the walls twist and churn as what lurks within them moves. Every so often I catch a glimpse of one of their too-wide smiles. The things they say to me are unspeakable. It is so wondrous. They fill my head with things I never thought possible. As I lay awake in bed at night, listening to them, I am afraid to hear them. I'm afraid, because I think I'm beginning to enjoy it more and more. I cannot wait until everyone else can hear them too. Until everyone can feel this bliss.Completa
Out From Within the Shadow
Introduction In March 2013, following the completion of From Within The Shadow, I reached the point of feeling and being like I'd found my way out from within the shadow. With each step it felt like I was opening like a flower: Blossoming, growing stronger, taller, daily. Pushing outwards, the seeds, to attract the honey bee, like a chest being puffed out. Petals like eyes, seeing the world, feeling the wind, the sun, the rain. Dancing, strutting, feeling a part of the world, stretching outwards to reach my full potential. Out From Within the Shadow I now stand out from within the shadow tall, upright and in full glow behind me now is where it is only to visit as I reminisce. Sweeter memories can now be found as all the tangles have been unwound and freedom is now the path for me and with my new eyes the world I see. Silent Heroes: Wildcat
"What the hell?" I took a step closer to the mirror, staring at my reflection in disbelief. The person looking back was still me, but at the same time it wasn't. I had the same thick, dark, curly hair. The same hazel eyes. The same olive skin with a light dusting of freckles (ugh) scattered across the bridge of my nose. But my curls were now streaked with highlights. And not the subtle, golden-brown ones that sometimes appeared during the summer. No, these were an aggressive, dazzling blond that went from the roots of my hair all the way to the tips. It looked like I had spent a full day getting my hair done in some upscale salon. Never mind that I had never set foot in such a place since the day I was born. My eyes appeared somehow wider and more luminous. The colour brighter, my eyelashes darker up against them. And, when I looked closely, my pupils seemed to be slitted almost like a cat. I looked down at my body. My skinny arms-which had always refused to gain any definition no matter how hard I exercised-were lined with flat, wiry muscles. My bony shoulders were now curved and smooth. My scrawny legs were toned like a dancer. I reached down and lifted my shirt, revealing two subtle lines running vertically down my perfectly flat stomach, hinting at the rock-hard abs underneath. From Within The Shadow
Introduction I started a different walk in life in 2007. I have always jotted down ditties from time to time; the ones in this book came about with a massive change within my life. It appeared sometimes as if I had no control over the flow of words. The first sentence would come through and that would be that until the poem was finished, regardless of the length. I started taking a notebook and pen with me everywhere I went so I could write if I needed to. The last one of the book 'Now' marks the end of an era. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I have enjoyed writing them. Shadows I was walking along the other evening and I noticed my shadow,,, Then I noticed more shadows,,, For each light along the way it cast another shadow, hidden from view then the angle of me walking and the position of the light made it come into view, then go out of view again, sometimes, melting into another part of my shadow,,,, Mind you, they were all the different artificial lights, street, car, security, etc,,, I've only noticed one shadow with the light of the sun,,, Added to Heart Stains (HeartBreak) reading list by WattpadPoetry 07/02/2022💖Completa
