"Would you really kill me, my love?" King Caspian asked, his dagger still drawn in his hand.
" For our people... For our home...Without question!" Esme said, holding her sword tighter.
King Caspian looked at the love of his life and to the people fighting on the field. He tossed his weapon to the side and fell to his knees in front of her. With his head bowed he lightly placed his forehead on her legs in surrender.
"I surrender." He said quietly.
As if giving a silent command, every Lychan had stopped fighting. Everyone had dropped their weapons. The war is over...
