Plot: Flash, an asocial but highly talented unicorn is forced to move to Ponyville to check on the preparations for the Summer Sun Celebration By Princess Twilight's request. However, also by Twilight's request, Flash must make new friends. With that, the unicorn moves to Ponyville from Canterlot and encounters 5 new ponies to befriend, all of whom are preparing their parts for the celebration. The five ponies are Ant, a strong earth pony, Jordan, a fashionable unicorn, Dan, an agile pegasus, Adam, a jokester earth pony, and Tyler, a DJ pegasus. Flash, resentful of new friends, shoves them away, but a legend comes true about a pony who was banished to the moon on the night of the Summer Sun Celebration.
When she finds that the Elements of Harmony are the only way to save everyone from being trapped in a world of torment, she ventures into the Everfree Forest with the help of the group of ponies who accompany her on her quest, eventually helping her befriend them. But will she manage to understand true friendship while with the five stallions who accompany her?
