I couldn't sleep. Taking naps was harder then I expected. All these creative, clever ideas were rushing through my head, sometimes it feels like an adrenalin rush. I rolled out of bed, grabbed my notebook and ran to the balcony. I couldn't help but notice the crisp air surrounding me as I gaze at the fiery colors of the setting sun melt into a moonlit.

I flicked through my notebook trying to find a blank page and wrote down every possible song lyric I could use. 'Yeah I am red, you are blue I'm old school and you're so new'. I heard my ring-tone from inside. It was Paul.

"Hey, I know I'm late i'll be there in 15 minutes, I had to create something new for the gig tonight" In the past I was never on time for any sort of job, and I did not want to listen to a massive lecture about how late I knew I was. So I hanged up like the bad bitch I am.

I dashed around the whole apartment, trying to get ready. It didn't take much long before I rushed out the front door.

...

"Stefani! Quickly get on stage!" Paul Growled. I panicked. It's my first gig, and I had been getting ready for days prior to this day. I didn't think it would be this full I sort of imagined it to be more empty. Instead people were very uninterested. Everyone was screaming at each other. The back seats were all full. I got on stage and sat down on the stool.

There was a guy in the front row. Right in front of me. And he could not stop looking at me. I didn't pay much attention.

"Hello..My name is Stefani and this song is called Red And Blue..." Only a couple of people clapped but I wasn't expecting anything too overwhelming. I took a deep breath and sang my little heart out. I wasn't too confident but I sure did try. I looked around whilst I sang all... the loud drunk screams suddenly stopped and all eyes were on me.

...

After singing, everyone complimented me. I can't believe everyone liked it. And then I heard someone.. I turn around and its the same guy from the front row. "Hi, I'm Taylor".
