Jim and Richel tried their luck as a couple once before. Their careers got in the way and they separated as their success came forward. Jim went on to to become the quarterback for the 49ers. He dated around but nothing stuck, and nothing felt like what he had with her. Richel runs the Product Development operations for Kendo Beauty in San Francisco. She's tried to move on from her past multiple times, and got her heart broken again. They're set to reconnect at an desert retreat for a mutual friend's birthday and will be the first time they see each other in 3 years.
