Yes, it seems so forced, but Maxine is desperate for understanding while Harry has his own issues all from his disturbing past that has been untold for over a year year. He's dealing with the consequences of poor his choices of his past that is hard for him to speak on. At the same time, Unknown, a messenger who'd send messages that could play with the mind by playing the butterfly effect will give out lies and hints to what really happened and what made other unfamiliar and unfortunate events occur around them. Is it real or is it all not? Is it their fate or is their future going to come as these events flash before their eyes? Well, there's more danger to that... as well with sex, drugs, rock and roll of course. It's all about catching those childhood dreams so that many eyes could turn to the one who achieved them well.
