"Those scrolls have a chokehold on you, huh!" Atlas snickered. "You don't have to pretend to be all high and mighty."

"That's how IceWings are supposed to act," Shiver hissed.

"But you're not any normal IceWing," Atlas said. "You're our Shiver."

"Well someday, I'm gonna have to be," Shiver explained. "When we end the war, and I get to live with my family."

She could already see it now. Her family welcoming her back with open arms, the tribe hailing her as a hero.

Oh, she couldn't wait to be free from the rock they called a home.

For as long as Shiver has lived, she and her friends were given one purpose: To repeat the successes of ancient history and end the war between Pyrrhia and Pantala. WoF Fanfiction - discontinued and really bad Hybrid was, well, a hybrid. She used to have a good life, kept hidden from the public. She didn't know what type of dragon she was and had no friends, but that didn't matter. She had her icewing dad, who took her out hunting and loved her enough to make up for everything else twofold. She thought that her difference wasn't necessarily bad. That all changed one day. Hybrid and her father were out, close to where they usually went hunting, and were celebrating her third birthday by going whaling. They were spotted. Another icewing took down her father, killing him for harboring a hybrid. Hybrid was dumped in the desert outside of the wall, where she was found by a sandwing. The sandwing drug her out to die in the dunes. She survived. Barely. After being stabbed by the sandwing's tail barb, she thought she was done for. The last thing that she remembered was her front talons feeling way too cold, especially in contrast to her sunburnt body. Then, black. When she woke up, she was even more different. A/N: I apologize, because, looking back, I kind of lost any inspiration for the first idea, can't mesh it with the idea I tried to throw in, and it would not make sense to ignore either of them....... So yeah this is discontinued, it's really a bad story. I may revamp it into a situation that makes more sense some time in the near future, though.
