This fanfiction takes place after season 5 episode 1, right after Hotch is dismissed from hospital. The starting point is Emily and Hotch arriving at Hotch's apartment after she drove him there.
Trigger warning: stabbing, PTSD, mentions of sexual assault, mentions of torture, mention of murder
