One moment. That's all it takes.. you can finish a city in one moment. You can become a hero in one moment. You can become president in one moment. And you can become an Umbreon in one moment.

The last one happened to Marilee, an 'ordinary' girl at an elementary school. Only ten.... and yet, the worst thing possible happened to her at the first bend in the road of life.

And it all went downhill from there.

Can she set things right... or will her life become an example for people to laugh at? Is this the first domino on the path to correction... or the path to destruction?

There's only one way to find out.

Prologue In the world of college life, words are often thrown around like confetti-light, colorful, and sometimes lacking substance. They say things to fill the silence, to create connections, and to express feelings that often remain hidden beneath the surface. But what happens when those words fall flat? When the promises made in fleeting moments fade into echoes of unfulfilled intentions? This is a story about the complexities of communication and the silent battles fought within relationships. It began with a simple smile exchanged in the midst of chaos during National Pharmacy Week-a moment that seemed inconsequential yet held the weight of possibilities. She found herself drawn to him, captivated by the way he spoke, the way he made her feel. But as she discovered, words alone would not be enough to bridge the gap between us. As their paths intertwined, we danced around each other in a series of unsaid feelings, lingering glances, and an unspoken connection that left her yearning for more. But with every promise unkept, the reality became clearer: words are just that-words. They mean little without the actions to back them up. This is the story of Elle's journey through that realization, a tale of fleeting moments, unfulfilled expectations, and ultimately, the power of choosing clarity over confusion. It's about learning that love is not just spoken; it's demonstrated. And in the end, it was a lesson that would change everything she thought she knew about relationships and herself.

{BOOK ONE} There are five factions. Each had their own reasoning for thinking why the war had happened. Dauntless; cowardice and fear. They strive to be brave, fearless. Erudite; ignorance. They strive for intellect, to be smart and curious. Candor; deception. They strive to be honest. Amity; they blamed the war itself along with fighting. They strive to be kind, forgiving, peaceful. Abnegation; selfishness. So they strive to be selfless. Dauntless are our police. Erudite are our teachers. Candor is the law. Amity are the farmers. And Abnegation are our government. I would sit on the ground everyday, wearing my yellow dress with black sandals. Wasn't the best thing for me. Dresses made my shoulders to broad, especially the flowing ones. When I was home alone, or with my mother, I would wear I tight black shirt and white shorts. No one would really approve, mostly because they were Candor colours along with the fact it's not... welcoming enough. I never understood Amity, not because of the kindness and the peacefulness; well, mostly the peacefulness. Whenever it should come down to defending ourselves or walking away. We walked away. It confused me. Maybe I wasn't Amity enough to understand. Maybe I wasn't kind enough. Maybe, just maybe, I didn't belong here. So where do I belong? A/N : First chapter is a little sketchy but that is the case with all of my books. I promise it does get a lot better afterwards Start: Feb 06 2021 End: Dec 15 2021

An Absol's Life [ Currently Being Edited ] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For personal reasons, Akila had never really loved Pokemon. Alas, in trying to become a high-ranking Pokemon trainer, she finds herself stuck with an Absol she despises from the moment she lays eyes on him. Yet, life works in mysterious ways and very soon into her journey to beat the trainer Sabrina, she finds herself side-tracked by her newest Pokemon - as well as an outside force - and lead into a world she had never really opened her eyes to. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Not all rights of this story are mine. The rights for the Pokemon and the names of the region are those of Pokemon. I own the personalities of my own characters however, and the small forest where this particular story takes place. Note that not all this will be loyal to the canon, and, a lot of this will need to be revised. From a technical story-writing stand point, and that of the fandom this is based around, the piece is nothing great. I am working on it though, hoping to edit it to where it becomes worthy of the readers and votes it did gain. Thank you for giving this story a chance. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Main Dedication: To Jess, the wonderful cat that had always been a friend to me, the one who cared about what I felt when no one else would and who made this world a better place. I will always miss you. You may not have been my cat, but you've always been my friend. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
