It has been forty-three years since the sun turned on the earth causing a disaster far beyond the capability of humanity: the Great Desertification. And Lilian, one of the many survivors, is trying to survive the extreme conditions in which she lives, which she does pretty well.
With no reason to live, and a bleak future ahead. Is she willing to take on the opportunity to ride out of her boring comfort zone which comes in the form of a strange boy, who shows up at her doorstep after a terrible sandstorm?

Tales Of Wonder are short stories that are tied in to a novel I've had in my head for years. They are related to the novel and each other. These stories are mainly to motivate me and to test out different writing styles. Each short story will be written in different styles. They take place in a world where magic and science combine. The first story here, I admit leaves the rules of the world and how everything works a little vague but each short story will add more and eventually the novel will tie up the magic system.
