Eliane Farris is a third year college psychiatry student. Her mother came from an influential family while her father is an average man. She grew up in an abusive environment with her mother constantly beating up her father. Her childhood and teenage years affected her so much mentally it given her the inspiration to pursue psychiatry. Her mother forced her to become a trainee and work for a wealthy family friend of theirs. Little did she know it's her mother's tactic to marry her off to the wealthiest man on the country.

Alejandro Cortez on the other hand, is not your typical businessman. Underneath his handsome and alluring features is a vulnerable man, suffering from trauma's of his past. He hides from people. He's scared of people. He has social anxiety disorder that gets in the way in both his personal and social life. His family badly wants it to be treated that they're desperate to get him a psychiatrist.
