I was so depressed and literally couldn't get over the fact that sofia had died.
"it's not fair," I mumbled, only she could hear me. "it was supposed to be forever."
she smiled back at me weakly. "this is our forever."
she coughed up some blood, getting a little on my suit, and that was really the least of my worries.
"I love you, ace."
"I love you too, baby. you're okay, you'll be okay."
she simply patted my hand that was on her chest and gave me a smile, trying to comfort me into believing that everything would be okay.
